CEPR Workshop "Estimation and Empirical Validation of Structural Models for Business Cycle Analysis"
The EABCN/CEPR workshop will take place in Zurich, starting the 29th September. It aims at bringing together the latest advances in theoretical and empirical analysis of business cycles from researchers in both academia and central banks. The main focus will be on estimation and evaluation of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models. Mainly, newly developed inferential tools, as well as empirical applications where existing methods are used in a novel way. Papers which compare different methods or algorithms for estimating DSGE models are welcomed. On the empirical side the interest is mainly in papers that provide new evidence, on national and international business cycles, cross country dynamics of inflation and the dynamics of exchange rates [Link(scroll down)]
